Week of November 27

Several teachers have had questions regarding journaling during Enrichment.  Mrs. Carrell would like to share the following: "From now until Christmas students will be introduced to journaling during enrichment period.  2nd period teachers can obtain journals through the assistant principals' office.  Journaling is a way to express feelings, dreams, and desires.  It's an outlet that helps cope with life and with everything that has been happening over the course of the last several months, we realize this activity could be beneficial to both our students and staff.  Encourage students to personalize their journals and to write, draw, copy lyrics, etc.  Some teachers may want to journal with their students or provide prompts to get them started."

The Thursday we return 11/30 is our annual college day.  Everyone is encouraged to participate by wearing their college attire.

Next week is Thanksgiving.  I hope that everyone has a much needed break and is able to enjoy their time with their families.

Good Luck to all of the squads competing over the next 2 weeks!
