The Trophy Case

This week I am going to add a new feature.  I will be adding a student accolade section called the Trophy Case.  Send in those pictures from various competitions and student activities and I will try to get them published.
The robotics team won Grand Champion at the Galveston Ball competition last weekend.  By doing so they have already qualified for the state meet.
The ECHS students had a great trip visiting LIT this week.
The volleyball team won district.  They also beat Shepherd in round 1 and are heading into round 2.
The football team clinched a playoff spot.  In the game last week Calvin Tyler set the school season record for rushing.
The Choir attending the Renaissance Festival contest.
The band performing this past weekend at SFA.

Survival Techniques 101
With another teacher workday on the horizon and many of the staff playing the campus BINGO I thought it relevant to share a "fun" new game.  Many times I find myself talking in code that no one other than an educator would understand.  In this week's Survival Techniques principal Gerry Brooks shares his Educational Acronym Bingo.
