It has been rather chaotic the past couple weeks. I apologize for dropping the ball with keeping everyone updated on the upcoming events.
As we roll into April we will begin having banquets and other year end type activities. We are one week away from our first round of EOC testing. Keep an eye out for assignments and other related information concerning the upcoming testing.
I will be sending out an email next week concerning the May awards ceremony. Please note the dates and deadlines.
Tomorrow marks the last staff holiday before the final surge. I hope you all have a great Easter with your families.

The Trophy Case
We have had so many great student achievements since the last update.
The Bass Team took home first place at the Sam Rayburn Invitational. I am told approximately 60 teams participated. Awesome Job!
The UIL Academic Teams represented the campus very well at their recent meet.
Girls golf placed second at the district meet and advances to regionals.
The boys and girls soccer teams advanced to the playoffs. This is a first for the boys in quite some time. Congrats to both!
The Winter Guard held their first invitational last week. Several students placed in the event.
One Act play represented us well at the district meet and did a fine job displaying their performance this past week.
Congressman Babin was given his own private SHS robotics team exhibition this past week. By all accounts it was an impressive showing.
Last weekend the Criminal Justice team competed at state and placed second in Disturbance Call. Awesome job!

Last but not least the Boys Basketball team brought home another State Championship. It looks like the squad may be favored once again next season.
