Week of October 2

The fastest six weeks on record is rapidly coming to a close.  Please make sure that you are following the modified grading rubric for this six weeks.

When making parental phone calls pertaining to classroom issues many parents state they are not being notified.  Please make those contacts on those minor persistent issues you may be experiencing.  I know it can be frustrating, but by making contact you are creating a documentation trail.

Walk-throughs will become more prominent as the new six weeks unfolds.

Mr. Trevino has put your job descriptions in your boxes in the print room.  Please return those ASAP.

Lesson plans must continuously be updated.

The new scantron printing machine has been ordered, but it is not here yet.

Schedules are pretty much set.  Review your student rosters and familiarize yourself with any 504/special education students.  Remember any accommodation or modification is not a suggestion. They are law and must be followed.  Keep documentation on how you are meeting the student's I.E.P. or plan.  If you have any questions please visit with the counselors' office.
